Product Description

14-inch diameter machined double-sided electroplated steel diamond grinding disc that attaches to a potters wheel like a bat. Both sides of the disc have a diamond grinding surface, one medium/coarse (100 grit), and the other fine (400 grit).  Two 14" discs back to back, combined as one for a total of 300+ square inches of total grinding area.

Just flip the disc over to change grits. Both sides are separately replaceable without having to replace the entire disc when one side wears out.

Use with water and eye protection.

It works like a slower speed lapping disc or lap grinder and can be used to smooth gemstones and glass and sharpen tools.  No assembly, it is ready to use. Works for high fired porcelain, stoneware or bisque.

Each disc is machined flat before electroplating for an even, very effective operation, and evenly distributed consistent grit particle size.

1/4"+ thick, which can be used with the regular bat pins you already have.

  1. Great system 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Mar 2020

For years I used a regular grinding wheel to try to get my pots smooth on the bottom. When I wore out the stone I couldn't get another that balanced well and lost pots from the vibration. Then I found the Sequoia grinding wheel. It is not only MUCH safer, but easy to use. Any pots that are slightly off flat are automatically fixed with the grinding process. My customers BUY more often because I have them feel the smoothness on the pot bottom. I consider this grinding system a must.
